Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
The Rotary Club of Manningham City is part of a global network of 35,000+ clubs in over 180 countries around the world. Our original club of Templestowe was chartered in 1977, and has a long and proud history of making a difference in our local community of Manningham.
Following the merger of the Rotary Clubs of Templestowe and Manninghjam to become Manningham City, we now have engagement in many community support programs across the whole of the City of Manningham and surrounding areas.
We also believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. We work with sister clubs on international projects to:
- Promote peace
- Fight disease
- Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
- Save mothers and children
- Support education
- Grow local economies
Our mission as Rotarians is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
