This week we supported CareNet with a donation of “kids school snacks” in response to current need. Some parents are finding it hard to put food on the table with items like school snacks not on their list. At class break-time the student has no snacks leaving an embarrassed child. According to CareNet CEO, Kellie (above on the right), this is happening more often as we see the cost of living effecting more people in our area. After a trip to the Pines we purchased a number of items and filled a few boxes. CareNet is an incredible organisation helping our local communities. With over 70 volunteers they work hard to ensure ongoing support in very difficult times.
