As the Rotary year draws to a close, Esther and I want to express our deepest gratitude to every member of our club for your support, resilience, and dedication over the past 12 months. While it has been a personally challenging year for both of us with family commitments and health hurdles, the strength of our club shone through. Together, we have stayed true to our core Rotary values of Service and Fellowship, ensuring that even during demanding times, our strategic goals remained firmly in sight. We also paused to honour the memory of Anthony Fernandez and Keith Woolnough, whose legacies continue to inspire our work.

Despite the hurdles, it has been an incredibly successful year of impact. From the energy of the Youth Team’s "Good Vibrations" Black Tie Disco and our vibrant Interact and Earlyact clubs, to the impactful roll-out of the Manningham QR code support project by the Community Welfare and Health Committee, our footprint in the community remains profound. Signature events like the Schools ANZAC Day service and the Golf Day for Prostate Cancer Research showcased the very best of what we can achieve when we work together. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our tireless board, the powerhouse Op Shop team, our catering crew, and everyone working behind the scenes to keep our wheels turning.

Looking ahead, we are thrilled to hand the presidential chains over to the highly capable hands of incoming Co-Presidents Brian Negus and Brian Tyedin. The strategic plan we built together is in excellent hands to ensure the long-term sustainability of our club. As for Anthony, he is excited to transition into the role of Club Secretary and Esther will continue as Newsletter editor and Community Health and Welfare Chair. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our fellowship and community impact alongside all of you.

Thank you for an unforgettable year,

Esther & Anthony
