Greetings from Orange NSW and Happy Halloween!
We have a very short newsletter this week as your acting editor (Anthony) is in Orange looking after his Dad and Mum who are both in their 90s. Mum has taken a fall and is in hospital. Fortunately she is making a stellar recovery.
Tomorrow the Disco team will be running the first ever Mayoral All Abilities Good Vibrations Disco at the Manningham Function Centre. Thanks to the Mayor, Cr. Deidre Diamante for her patronage and support. Thanks also to the Council and the team led by Luke Bastian with John Bennie and Stella Yee who have put together what will be a wonderful event. And of course thanks to the club members who have volunteered to assist. Enjoy a wonderful night.
Next Wednesday we will be at the Manningham Hotel for our Melbourne Cup partners night. Good luck to all the punters out there!
