The Challenge to Lead Program was introduced by the Rotary Club of Doncaster and is now a Rotary Manningham City Program. The program is lead by Pat Armstrong and David Grieve.
The Program is for high potential leaders and is delivered pro bono by dedicated professional facilitators including the former Director of HR for HP and Telstra, a Senior Fellow Melbourne Business School, an advisor to Mt Eliza MBA program and a Principal Fellow of the Melbourne University Business School.
Since 2014, Challenge to Lead participants have come from a wide range of organisations including local government, multinational companies, not for profits (NFPs), statutory authorities and small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) and the program has received many ringing endorsements.
As well as providing development for individuals in the community this program also highlights the role of Rotary and potentially provides a major source income each year for RMC.
The next program will run in 16-17 May 2025, so now is the time to think about whether there is anyone you know, or know of, or someone you know who might know someone who would benefit from this program.
The "Challenge to Lead” program is an exciting and intensive residential program that liberates the leader within and enables participants to make extraordinary things happen … for themselves, their followers, their organisation, and the world.
The Challenge to Lead program for High Potential Leaders is targeted at managers from any business, NFP or government background, who are high achievers and want to make more of a significant difference through improved leadership. Participants qualifying to attend this program should be employed at the level of:
- Current and future manager and supervisors
- Developing leaders
- Business owners
- Subject matter experts who need to engage across the organisation.
If you would like further information or have a few ideas of people who might benefit from this program, please contact David Grieve.
The club is currently looking for suggested particpants for the 2025 program.
